11 year publishing anniversary

I always get a big dose of dopamine on June 1st. Why? Allow me to tell you.

It's summer! It's my birthday month! It's the kickoff to Pride! And it's my publishing anniversary!

Eleven years. How surreal.

It's been my dream since seventh grade to be a published author—never mind being in a position to make it my full-time job. And I'm so grateful, so thankful to every single one of you who've picked up one of my books over the years. Readers took one look at a crotchety colorblind sleuth, said, sure, and we've been on one hell of a journey ever since! Thank you so much for your support. Not only does it allow me to continue writing these eclectic love stories, but it keeps my independent cover artists, illustrators, narrators, and team of editors employed. And in this age of AI, with tech bros hellbent on taking humanity out of the arts—your stance on supporting and protecting human artists is more important than ever!

I hope you will continue reading alongside me. There's more Larkin and Doyle to come, more Gillian and Gunner, more new stories, new projects, and new adventures!

And as a little gift to readers, I have a book on sale for the entirety of June: Lights. Camera. Murder. (The Silver Screen: Case One) is only 99c with all online retailers!
